Day 25, finished… the story!

From here on I’ll be going back in and adding descriptions and a few edits where they are needed to bump up the word count but as far as I’m concerned finishing the story was the milestone I was most concerned about so I’m very happy today. 😀
also I worked more on that sketch I uploaded yesterday, I kept flipping back between writing and colouring and this is where I’m up to:
Still more to do on that too but I like how it’s coming along. anyhoo I’m going off now, lots to do tommorow so I gotta be ready 🙂

writing was much better today, like Willem commented on the last post, after being stuck in a rut it builds up pressure and you work much faster afterwards, not only did I lay down a respectable wordcount I also arted plenty too. (not fair-related but meh)

also I did some photoshop scribblings of a girl’s first day of training after joining cyborg operations (the first training exercise determines what parts of your body are better off mechanical):
I also heard a rumour that today the new version of blender would be released and I got all excited but its a no-show so far… apart from that though its been a pretty productive day for me 😀

Its mostly because I am writing stuff I have been building up to for ages and I’m finding that it’s difficult to get the right tone, so I’m just wading through it as best I can and once I’ve written the rest I’ll come back to this stuff.
also I started storyboarding a trailer but I doubt I’ll ever get round to making it, I dont have the time and there are other projects that will have to take priority (very exciting and cool projects) in december.
bleeeeh, I’ll go at it full steam tommorow. I need to veg out listening to music tonight I think
edit: after watching Logan in super speed I figured I’d check out this multires stuff in blender, and it turns out blender can do what I liked about z-brush but for free, so yay. this guy was made from a cube:

today includes 2 new fights (starting with the one I ducked out of yesterday so you get to see Zephyr vs. Wiynd 😀 ) and in the other fight a major character dies for the first time in ages.
anyhoo, after a good days typing whats better to do than make a crapload of drawings? I wouldnt know, I never managed both at once, but I did try today, I started making some rough sketches for all the characters today, heres some that arent the worst:

anyhoo, thats me done for today, its time to continue my gintama marathon ^__^
edit: oh yeah, I can draw because I have hijacked my dad’s wacom 😀
Day 21, playing catchup

somehow on my pc the file had been collecting extra words somewhere and the last draft was closer to 34k than 35k, so I’ve had to catch up to where I thought I was before my wordcount could legitimately go up. but now I’m using the word counter on the NaNoWriMo site itself so from here on all stats are accurate 🙂

A good amount written today (turns out this morning I was actually behind the target for the first time all month) if I can keep this pace or maybe enter the konami code and have a couple of days like the first one I’ll finish with time to spare.
