I actually made a new game!
Posted: February 1, 2010 Filed under: Game stuffs Leave a comment »It’s called ZagiZigi, and I made it in the hopes it will get selected for this years Gamma4 event which will be at GDC, which means I’m not letting you play it now! (sorry, really I am -_-;) but in the highly likely chance it isn’t selected (there’s alot of competition, and some of it looks damn beautiful) I am working on a bigger, slightly cooler version for web release time.
if you want to see more though, I just dumped all my development screenies to my crappy blog. 🙂

I was lucky my first prototype was pretty fun in a matter of an hour or so, so I had the rest of the week to make it as polished and cool as I could, Â here’s the process as I know plenty of folks like that kind of thing (I know I do):
oh hey, I just realised I never used that brick texture in the end! made a better one you should see lower down ^_^
I had a lot of fun baking tiling normal maps this week btw ^____^
now that’s a much better brick texture! 😀
and that’s it, if it’s selected you will be able to see it at the gammaIV event at this years GDC, and if not I’ll be working on a bigger, better version for the web release 🙂
Ludum dares, timelapses and general updateyness

first up, miniLD last month was hosted by the very awesome Terry Cavanagh, and he told us to work in teams, so me and my friend LoganvSteenderen teamed up, me with code and animation and him with epic modeling and texturing:

I’m busy with a project at the moment and its pretty damn cool, but I’m not announcing it yet so you’ll have to wait, it should be done within the month hopefully so you shouldnt have to wait long, once thats done I’ll resume work on Edward and not stop until it is feature complete and all known bugs are dead. after that I’ll take a look at all my projects and my finances and decide where to go from there.
