I actually made a new game!

It’s called ZagiZigi, and I made it in the hopes it will get selected for this years Gamma4 event which will be at GDC, which means I’m not letting you play it now! (sorry, really I am -_-;) but in the highly likely chance it isn’t selected (there’s alot of competition, and some of it looks damn beautiful) I am working on a bigger, slightly cooler version for web release time.
if you want to see more though, I just dumped all my development screenies to my crappy blog. 🙂

I was lucky my first prototype was pretty fun in a matter of an hour or so, so I had the rest of the week to make it as polished and cool as I could, here’s the process as I know plenty of folks like that kind of thing (I know I do):
oh hey, I just realised I never used that brick texture in the end! made a better one you should see lower down ^_^
I had a lot of fun baking tiling normal maps this week btw ^____^
now that’s a much better brick texture! 😀
and that’s it, if it’s selected you will be able to see it at the gammaIV event at this years GDC, and if not I’ll be working on a bigger, better version for the web release 🙂

Posted: January 13, 2010 Filed under: General Stuffs 5 Comments »So recently a few folks have remarked how Square-Enix totally ripped off my linear RPG, of course I have a team of lawyers working on getting me the billions of yen they owe me, but in the mean-time, a very awesome person called janz approached me asking if it would be cool for him to translate the game into Chinese. my response was ‘Hell yes!’

on a personal note, I am really psyched about this, it’s the first time one of my games has ever been available in a language other than English, so a huge thanks to janz for his awesome offer and translation 😀
