Vampire Queen of Evenmere – Week 2

So, this week has been pretty productive! I’m still behind my target but not so much – the current wordcount is 20k, with 200+ passages – so that’s about half of a Fighting Fantasy gamebook (yes I keep using this metric lol).

As far as what is in it, you can now also travel through the forest up to the castle grounds, and explore some of the castle itself. There is also some unlinked backstory passages too, but they contain spoilers so do be careful if you’re just scrolling and reading (basically if you find a passage that is past-tense, that’s spoilers!)

Waitress For Zombies – Happy Halloween!

OH NO IT’S A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

BUT YOU (A TOP WAITRESS) STILL HAVE TO PAY BILLS

TIME TO SERVE SOME BRAINS, (WHICH YOUR CHEF SEEMS TO HAVE PREPARED???)

So yeah, that’s the game! Zombie customers come in, feed them before they get impatient and eat you!

Controls:

• WASD/Arrows = Move
•  Q = Pick Up/Drop with left hand 
•  E = Pick Up/Drop with right hand 

I’d like to polish this up later, but for now it’s as-is (which ngl, is pretty rough – you’re gonna have to quit and re-open the app if you get eaten)

Monthly Build 2019/10 – Dice Update Release Candidate

This will hopefully be the last monthly build that is dice because I hope (hope hope hope hope hope) that I can release this build this week… I know that it’s not gonna feel like much of a patron exclusive considering I’m giving it to you only a few days before people who bought it but I will make it up to you if I can! (specifically, if I can finish the release in time I want to make a halloween game, but that might be tight timewise so we’ll see)

Anyway, this is absolutely the best version of my dice roller and I’m super psyched to share it with you!

Sleepy Game Jam – Daydream Prompt generator

Wanna play an amazing procedurally-generated single-player RPG? I am working on one right now that uses technology called “imagination”!

lol anyway I needed a teensy break from dice and I had an idea for the Sleepy Game Jam which was to make a generator that gave you prompts for daydreams. You get a prompt as the last thing you do before you put away your screens and go to bed, then explore that idea/place until you fall asleep.

It’s made using tracery which I’ve been experimenting with a lot lately (especially to bring @CodecFreq140_96 back to life!) and I’m really enjoying working with something that is text-only and so simple.

Some things need fleshing out but let me know what you think, people don’t talk about their daydreams a lot so if this isn’t generating ideas for daydreams that you’d be interested in, let me know!
