Monthly Build 2018/01 – Fell Tracer

This month’s WIP game is from a (long (loooong (so very long))) while ago, it’s called “Fell Tracer”, and a lot of what went on to be Dusk Child came from this… But while Dusk Child has a very focused and smaller map, this game… doesn’t. My recommendation is don’t play this game any further than you enjoy it, it’s not worth trying to get all the items if you’re not having a good time 🙂

You will probably need some pointers if you’re gonna play this one (I could have done with them when coming back to it lol) so here they are:

! Important notes: !

1) To get past the first area you need to use the cube (it’s already in your inventory, I never coded the “pick-up” stuff for it) and press the “travel to checkpoint button. (Press “space”, use arrows to find the face with a circular button, press “A”)

2) You will probably need this map if you want to try getting all the things

3) Also this explanation of abilities

4) You can only hold three abilities at once, a lot of routes are impossible without the right combination of abilities for them

5) Oh also you need to know the controls I guess;

– Arrows = Run/jump/duck/crawl & rotate cube

– Space = Show/hide cube

– A,S,D = interact with cube, use/place ability in slot 1,2,3
