General Update

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve made an update that all tiers can see, the reasons for that are long and boring and mostly concern me being in a funk without enough energy to make posts. But today, I have energy! So let’s catch up!

Safecracking Simulator Keys:

First of all, I sent out itch/steam keys for my safecracking sim to everyone! Check your messages to get yours, if they are missing or broken let me know!

RPG Work

I’ve not given up on the RPG I started last year, but not having a story is a biiiiiig hold-up for that. I could jam something passable together but since it is my dream game, and the story is the foundation for this kind of game, I want it as good as it can be. To that end, I stole a technique from David Lynch and I’ve been writing ‘moments’ on index cards (pictured above!) that I can eventually string together and form a cool story. This is a slow process since I can’t just force out ideas I like without growing to hate the work, so in the mean-time I’m doing other stuff too!

Safecracking Work:

I’m working on an update for my safecracking sim, it’s not exciting, but I wanted you to know <3

Dice Work:

There is a substantial update to my dice app in the works, I’ve been adding A LOT of new dice shapes, new face images, and giving the dice expression system a REALLY POWERFUL update. There’s also a bunch of fixes and improvements. Kind-of annoyingly, this update will probably be indistinguishable to most people, but I’ll know myself that the app is way better 🙂

Again, sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted an update! Sometimes I have no energy, sometimes I have energy for a little work, and it’s unfortunately rare for me to have energy for work AND posting – but even when I’m silent I promise that your support is helping me get cool things done! Make sure to check my discord server for the day-by-day updates if you’re interested 🙂

Anyway I do have a few posts planned to fill you in on my process on some things and also to explain the guts of things like my dice expression system, which is secretly the most involved part of the app.
