Dice the Demiurge Image of a book titled 'Dice the Demiurge' with artwork that shows a swordsman standing atop a mound of dice, facing a planet where the landmasses form the shape of a demon challenging the swordsman

An incremental dice game for one player.

Roll dice each day to attack the Demiurge,
then trade the demon’s blood to become stronger.

Once the monster has been slain,
Ascend to the next world and do it again!

Two pages, each with a different class description and illustration. The Tailor class shows a person wielding a large needle with a big spool of thread on their back. The Berserker class shows a bear-person holding a fist wearing metal knuckles. Two pages, both describe a different Dojo for training, the skills they provide, and have an illustration of their masters. One master is a person in a firelit space, the other is a bird-person balancing on a rock in a meadow's gentle stream.

Wait, it's a what?

An incremental (it's about numbers getting bigger) dice (you'll be rolling lots of math-rocks) game (it's a good time) for one player (you play it on your own, but it's still cool to talk about weith friends!).

The interesting part of incremental games is usually in the decisions you make that impact the efficiency of your play, so they can be amazingly fun to anyone who is min-max inclined!

Dice the Demiurge however is much more than a pretty gloss with a spreadsheet underneath, that gloss features a variety of fantastic people, places, and things with a wide variety of mechanics that build from a very simple system of just rolling some dice each day to real-life quests and choices that can effect your play for weeks or months.

Two pages, one describes a wand shop and has an illustration of a goblin holding a wand aloft, the other page describes a dungeon quest and shows a dragon-like creature emerging from darkness. A double-page spread showing a bar where several devils are drinking, there are descriptions of the features they grant if hired.

So buying it gets me?

A rulebook with a wealth of hand-made black-and-white illustrations that took me months to finish. The book is available in Softcover (A5 size, 77 pages) or as PDF downloads.

All purchases (Softcover and Digital) include:

There are also free resources included: PDFs are available in both single- and double-page files, and the Imageless hypertext version has been written specifically to by easily navigable with screen reader software.

A double-page spread showing many plants and a mole-person tending a garden. There are descriptions of gardening mechanics and the results of successfully growing plants. A double-page spread showing a dog-person overlooking a vast chasm made of uncountable numbers of bookshelves. There are descriptions of various books that can be acquired and their features.

And what's in the book?

Since most of the play of the game will be browsing shops and planning your decisions, I've made the book as cool to flip through as possible.
